Complete with swordplay, 17th-century costumes, and a consort of four musicians, the ASC at NJCU production of Dumas’ classic novel, The Three Musketeers is staged in the lighthearted, all-ages, cross-dressing
more-more-more tradition of the "Panto" theatre.
The Three Musketeers recounts the adventures of D’Artagnan after he leaves his home in Gascony to become a musketeer. In Paris, D’Artagnan meets the musketeers of the title, Athos, Porthos, and Aramis, friends who live by the motto, “All for one and One for All.” With their help, D’Artagan finds love and embarks on a true hero’s quest, maturing from a talented boy in to a courageous musketeer.
