Romeo & Juliet, running in reperatory with The Three Musketeers, has never been more fresh or timely – new-found love clashes with ancient hate as the famed Capulets and Montagues hurtle wildly toward their own destruction. Actors Shakespeare Company’s visceral, passionate production combines the rawest of human experience and emotion with a gorgeously costumed Elizabethan setting, including chilling rapier fights, beautiful courtly dancing, bawdy humor and an original score of live music set to evoke the time and place of Shakespeare’s own Company.
