About This Show

Moon Over Buffalo is a riotous romp into the inner workings of a theatrical family. Picture it: Buffalo, 1953, a small regional repertory theatre. Enter Charlotte and George Hay, an aging acting couple and leading players in productions of Cyrano de Bergerac and Noel Coward’s Private Lives. But when Frank Capra himself is rumored to be enroute to see a matinee, will he see Cyrano, Private Lives or a disturbing combination of the two? Only Charlotte’s deaf mother who runs the theatre may know for sure. Absurdity and hilarity are served up in this backstage farce like only playwright Ken Ludwig (Lend Me a Tenor) can provide. The recent Broadway revival won two Tony Awards, including Best Revival of a Play.
