About the Show

Outspoken, outrageous and always opinionated comedienne Kathy Griffin dishes the dirt on life and celebrities from her perspective on the lower rungs of the Hollywood food chain when she makes her Morristown debut at The Community Theatre.

Kathy Griffin is probably best known for her four-year stint on the NBC sitcom Suddenly Susan as Vickie Groener, Brooke Shields’ acerbic colleague.
Prior to that, Griffin had many guest-starring roles on such series as Mad About You, ER, and Ellen; and also appeared as the recurring character Sally Weaver on Seinfeld. She also supplied the voice for Alice, the triangle-haired woman on the animated series, Dilbert. In 2004, Griffin starred in the Bravo comedy special, The D-List, based on her acute observations of the Hollywood celebrity pecking order. She is developing a sitcom for NBC entitled The D-List, which will chronicle Griffin’s life as a D-List celebrity.

A native of Chicago, Kathy moved west to pursue an acting career and got her start as a member of the famed Los Angeles Groundlings comedy group.
