Bonnie J. Monte directs William Shakespeare’s classic play. In the power struggle following Julius Caesar’s death, the great warrior and champion of Rome, Antony, deserts his wife and wages war on Octavius Caesar out of love for Cleopatra, Queen of Egypt. Antony and Cleopatra are figures of immense power, but also self-destructive, undeviating senualists. The epic scale of the political events the two main characters are caught up in contrast with the intimacy of their passion. Robert Cuccioli (of Jekyll & Hyde fame) and Tamara Tunie star as the title couple.
