About the Show

In a musical interpretation of Dickens’ classic, we meet Ebenezer Scrooge on Christmas Eve, as he complains about giving his clerk, Bob Cratchit, off for the holiday. Maintaining that Christmas is a “humbug,” Scrooge refuses to contribute to a fund for the poor and even refuses to dine with his nephew Fred. Later that night, however, he is visited by spirits who force him to consider the consequences of his past and reconsider his future. Though the spirits may have only been a dream, they leave Scrooge a changed man with an open and loving heart.

Recommended for ages 5 to 12.
