ACT is proud to present Thornton Wilder’s The Matchmaker as part of its Summer Repertory Season. East Side, West Side, all around town, Dolly Levi makes matches to support herself and help others find the joy of love she had with her late husband. But now her latest client – wealthy, ornery Horace Vandergelder – has caught her eye. When he refuses to allow his niece to marry for love, and when his bumbling clerks skip work to look for adventure, Dolly’s quick thinking and warm heart lets her weave this crazy patchwork of players into a loving quilt.
