The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis (The Rep) continues its 37th Mainstage Season with a revealing new production of the classic American musical My Fair Lady.

A stodgy, pedantic phonetics professor makes a wager that he can
transform a soot-smeared Cockney flower girl into a proper lady and
pass her off as royalty at a society ball in just a few weeks time.
It sounds like the pitch for the latest extreme makeover reality
television show, but it’s actually just the beginning of one of
America’s most beloved musicals, My Fair Lady.
