Todd Snider’s return to the Fitzgerald Theater for another memorable performance.p.m. For the past fifteen years, Todd Snider has been a satirist, class cutup and the rare artist who understands and celebrates the connections between the Stones, Dylan, Bill Hicks, John Prine, Mitch Hedberg, Kris Kristofferson, Hunter S. Thompson and Randy Newman. Snider’s records are fun even when they aren’t being funny, funny even when they’re sad, and no less truthful for the laughs. In 2008 Snider released the politically charged Peace Queer, an eight-song collection of antiwar songs as filtered through Snider’s signature wit and amiable pathos. Guests on the album include Patty Griffin, Kevn Kinney, Don Heron, Doug Lancio, and Will Kimbrough.
