Prospero, once the Great Duke of Milan, is now a philosopher-magician who reigns over a remote, enchanted island with his daughter Miranda. When his brother sails nearby, Prospero calls up a storm to wreck the ship, washing ashore the villainous noblemen who usurped his dukedom. This last play by William Shakespeare includes some of his most famous lines and is among his most beautiful works.
The first and final Sunday performances occur at 2pm.
