Christmas in Oz

Using characters from the Warner Brothers classic, The Wizard of Oz, Heritage Theatre Company of Maplewood (HTC) presents Christmas in Oz.

Dorothy has just learned that the wicked Miss Gulch has bought the bank and is about to foreclose on her house. Determined, she returns to the land of Oz where she is joined by her old friends the Tinman, the Cowardly Lion, and of course, the loveable Scarecrow as they journey to see the great Wizard of Oz. But the Wicked Witch has returned to Oz as well, and she will still stop at nothing to get the magic slippers Dorothy still wears.

Christmas in Oz is a colorful tale full of magic, wonder and adventure, featuring seven brand new songs from accomplished children’s writer Val Cheatham.
