About the Show

Originally from California, Chris Isaak began performing after college with the band Silvertone and released a self-titled album in 1986. When the single "Wicked Game," from his third album Heart Shaped World, was featured in David Lynch’s 1990 movie Wild at Heart, it reached the Top Ten on the Billboard charts. Another significant hit, "Somebody’s Crying," from 1995’s Forever Blue, resulted in both the single and album being nominated for Grammy Awards. He released a greatest hits album (Best of Chris Isaak) in 2006. Isaak has also appeared in several hit feature films, including The Silence of the Lambs and That Thing You Do. From 2001 to 2004, he starred in nearly 50 original episodes of the musical comedy series The Chris Isaak Show on Showtime. He also interviewed musical artists such as Stevie Nicks and Michael Bublé in 2009 for his one hour talk show The Chris Isaak Hour on the Biography Channel. With 12 albums to his credit over a nearly 30 year career and known for his chart-topping single "Wicked Game," Isaak is embarking on a world tour in support of his 2010 CD Live at the Fillmore.
