Care Enough is a new play about love in a time of protest, exploring questions of power, responsibility and obligation in the personal and political.
Within the world of the play, it’s a time of social upheaval. A man is held hostage, his captor seems to be himself, his former lover visits him, and their history unfolds. A chorus of five actors physically embody the struggle to reconcile the situation, relationships, and obligations, haunting the captors and lovers. Inspired in part by real experiences and also by larger reflections on power, privilege and obligation, Care Enough will be a physically intimate and emotionally challenging production.
