Artist Call for Proposals OPENS: The 5th Annual Off-Kilter Cabaret

Off-Leash Area announces an Artist Call for Proposals for the 5th Off-Kilter Cabaret. OLA’s Off-Kilter community program highlights and supports artists with disabilities creating original performance work. The annual Off-Kilter Cabaret is an evening length cabaret-style production, composed of 5 to 7 acts in any performing arts form. It is curated by the Off-Kilter Leadership Team, who are leaders in the disability community, and 80% of whom are themselves persons with disabilities. Anyone in the state of Minnesota is welcome to apply! The Call for Proposals open on September 25, 2026. Proposals are due by October 23, 2026. For more information regarding this year’s theme, “Location! Location! Location!”, please visit Off-Leash Area’s website. Performances will be held February 26-28, 2027 at the Playwrights’ Center, a fully accessible theater space. The event will include accessibility accommodations: ASL interpreting, captioning and audio description.
