Bain Boehlke directs Karl Gajdusek’s new play set in a house lost among the hills of Los Angeles. It tells the story of old and new love in the land of illusion. Poolside drinks, Chinese food, and Hollywood pitches are all part of the scene, and people are liable to say terrible things about each other — not out of malice, but because that’s just the way things are.
