Living Out

Who’s taking care of whose children and why? That’s the central question in Pulitzer nominee and screenwriter (Girl, Interrupted) Lisa Loomer’s humorous and often moving Living Out. Seen through the eyes of an El Salvadoran nanny from East Los Angeles and an affluent West L.A. lawyer, the comedy probes what separates the two women namely race, class, geography and citizenship-but also what they have in common.
