About the Show

In a time of exploitation, distrust, broken-down systems, and broken dreams, two brothers are forced to come to terms with their bitter history. Reunited after sixteen years of separation, Victor and Walter must sell their recently-deceased father’s possessions. Spurred on by the elderly appraiser, the brothers, along with Victor’s wife Esther, find themselves face to face with the inexorable truth. From the brilliant mind of Arthur Miller (Death of a Salesman, The Crucible) The Price is another journey into the depths of human behavior. Beautiful, tragic, and memorable, this distinctly American portrait was nominated for the 1968 Tony Award for Best Play.

On Wednesday, November 8, a 2:00 PM matinee replaces the regularly scheduled 7:30 PM evening show.
