About This Show

One of the world’s foremost classical theater companies, the Royal Shakespeare Company, makes its UMS debut with the second half of its exciting Millennium project. The 30-actor company performs This England – The Histories, consisting of Henry VI, Parts I, II and III and Richard III, in three distinct cycles with a contemporary theatrical interpretation. The plays are Shakespeare’s vision of England’s bloody and most turbulent history, charting the fall of the House of Lancaster during the infamous War of the Roses and the country’s ultimate descent into anarchy.
Tickets to the Royal Shakespeare Company’s performances are available in series format only. The RSC considers the History Cycle to be a single play with four (very long) acts. Tickets to individual productions, if available, will be sold 90 minutes prior to curtain at the Power Center Box Office.
The Cyles are as follows:
Cycle 1: Saturday, March 10 (11am, 3:15pm, 8pm) & Sunday, March 11 (5pm)
Cycle 2: Saturday, March 17 (11am, 3:15pm, 8pm) & Sunday, March 18 (5pm)
Cycle 3: Tuesday, March 13 (8pm), Wednesday, March 14 (3pm, 8pm), Thursday, March 15 (8pm)
