About This Show

The hottest comedy show in the country has come to Michigan!

Featured on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" and in "Deadline," the Lowkey Comedy Show was birthed in Los Angeles during the 2020 coronavirus pandemic. At the time it was the only live show in the city, and it gave starved audiences the much-needed laughs they all missed.

Since then, the show’s creators, Paul Elia and Matt Rife, have produced nearly 40 shows to sold-out audiences across Southern California—and now, ROYAL OAK!  Come hang out for a fun night of laughs!

Originally from Detroit, actor/comedian Paul Elia started his career as a stand-in for Michael Imperioli on the show Detroit 187. In 2010 he moved to Los Angeles, where he acted in films and television, including the shows Conan, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Mixology. As a stand-up comic, Paul has toured and performed at festivals across the U.S. and abroad, and has opened up for comedians Dana Carvey, Jason Stuart, and Chris Kattan.
Matt Rife is a comedian, actor, and writer who is best known for doing his stand-up at The Laugh Factory in Los Angeles. From Season 7 to Season 9, he was a recurring cast member on the improv comedy show Wild 'N Out on MTV and MTV2.
Dave Merheje was born in Windsor, Canada, and first began performing comedy in the Windsor-Detroit area. His album Good Friend Bad Grammar won a 2019 Juno Award for "Comedy Album of the Year" and he has performed at venues across Canada, the US, and abroad. He has a recurring role as Dave Bechara on TV’s Mr. D. and was featured in an episode of the Netflix series Comedians of the World. In 2019 Dave portrayed Ahmed on the Hulu comedy series Ramy.
Nataly Aukar is a Lebanese born and raised stand-up comic based in New York City. After working as a writer at a production house in Lebanon throughout her university years, Nataly took a leap to pursue comedy in New York. She produced “Tickling the Ivories—a Comedy Show” and has opened for Nimesh Patel (Saturday Night Live), Mo Amer (Colbert, Fallon, Netflix) and Gad El Maleh as part of his "Dream Tour" in D.C., Canada, and Dubai.

Joe Dombrowski (aka Mr. D) took the world by storm in 2017 with a viral April Fools’ Day spelling test prank that landed him multiple appearances on the Ellen DeGeneres show. Since then Joe has been traveling the world with his stand-up comedy tour, “Indoor Recess,” which highlights his crazy life as an elementary school teacher, and producing his podcast “Social Studies” where he humorously studies being social by being social with guests of all walks of life.
