About the Show
Jar the Floor deals with four generations of African American women getting together to celebrate the great-grandmother’s 90th birthday. Their attempts to communicate while at the same time rebelling against natural bonds from which they cannot escape lead to an unforgettable conclusion that “jars the floor.”
