Children of Eden

Children of Eden, music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, book by John Caird, a wonderful musical for the whole family. It is a joyous and inspirational musical about parents, children and faith. It takes a frank, heartfelt and often humorous look at the age-old conflict between parents and children. Adam (Ron Williams of Redford, MI), Eve (Annie Reinholz of Grosse Point Farms), Noah (Mark Byars of Garden City, MI) and the "Father" (Chris Chavez of Lincoln Park) who created them deal with the headstrong, fateful actions of their respective children. The show ultimately delivers an inspiring message that says "the hardest part of love…is letting go." Act 1 is the story of Adam and Eve and Cain (Vince Kelley of Roseville) and Abel (Brian Welch of Allen Park, MI). Act 2 is the story of Noah and the flood.
