Relationships are being re-evaluated. and Sarah Simon, the protagonist, is an attractive middle aged woman who hates the fact that she is getting older and is resisting it with every fiber of her being. She takes her frustration out on her husband, Ben, who she feels is rapidly turning into an old man. Ben seems to be taking the aging process like a duck to water but is fearful of retirement and losing his identity.
