I Have Before Me a Remarkable Document Given to Me by a Young Lady from Rwanda is a story about the relationship between Simon, a struggling writer and Juliette, a young survivor of an African civil war. In an effort to come to terms with the past, Juliette comes to Simon seeking help with a book she wants to write and ends up writing the story of her survival.
