The Three of Cups

Boston Playwrights Theater presents the New England premiere of The Three of Cups by Turkish-born playwright Sinan Unel, the acclaimed author of Pera Palas and Single Lives. Greg feels rejuvenated by his new-found relationship with Paul. Enter Mike, who is equally consumed by Paul, his former love. Driven by jealousy, Mike erodes Greg’s optimism by revealing the dark and erratic aspects of Paul’s personality. Although present only in Mike and Greg’s minds, Paul’s psyche dominates the evening and raises the stakes. Together, the three men live out the fortune of the Tarot card which gives the play its title.
