New York City
A tasty Comedy by Jamie Morris
In Silence young, butch FBI agent Clarice Startling is assigned tohelp find a missing woman and save her from "Beaver Bob," a serial killer who skins his victims "down there." Believing it takes one to know one, Clarice attempts to gain better insight into the mind of the killer by talking to a brilliant psychiatrist, Dr. Hannibal "The Cannibal" Lichter, a psychopath who "eats" his female victims before he kills them. Their twisted relationship forces Clarice not only to confront her own psychological demons (when will those clams stop screaming?) but leads her face-to-face with a demented killer so evil that even she may not have the courage – or strength – to stop him!
In addition to Morris the cast will include Brooks Braselman, a fellow LA Weekly Theater Award nominee for Best Comedy Performance (Christina Crawford) in Mommie Queerest. Braselman also originated the role of Natalie in The Facts of Life: The Lost Episode. The play will be directed by Christopher Kenney (who audiences also know as the drag star EDIE), the LA Weekly Theater Award-winning Best Comedy Director for Mommie Queerest.
