The Credeaux Canvas

Zeitgeist Stage Company presents the New England premiere of The Credeaux Canvas, by Keith Bunin. The play examines the lives of three aspiring artists in New York City who conspire to pass off an art forgery. Jamie is the disinherited son of a respected art dealer who, in an act of inspiration and desperation, convinces his roommate, Winston, to paint his girlfriend, Amelia, in the style of Credeaux. During the creation of the painting, the relationships develop into a complex romantic and sexual triangle that explodes when the wealthy client comes to view the painting.
