SpeakEasy Stage Company and Boston Theatre Works in association with
Broadway in Boston present Take Me Out by Richard Greenberg. This new play chronicles what happens when a beloved baseball star announces at an ordinary press briefing that he is gay. More than a mere coming-out story, Take Me Out is an “enchanting and enchanted take on baseball.” (The New York Times) that also touches on themes of friendship, race, and bigotry. Directed by Paul Daigneault.
