Solo: A Show About Friendship

From “This American Life,” Gabe Mollica’s “Solo: A Show About Friendship” comes to The Calderwood Pavilion for seven performances, April 16-21.

Comedian and storyteller Gabe Mollica is proud to present his hit Off-Broadway show “Solo: A Show About Friendship” to Boston’s BCA for the first time. In “Solo,” Gabe dives deep into what it means to have friends in your 30s, his special relationship with Stephen Sondheim, working at a summer camp for children with chronic illnesses, and what happens when you break up with your best friend.

Solo has run for over 80 performances and 5 extensions Off-Broadway at venues including the historic SoHo Playhouse (Nanettte, Fleabag, Just for Us.) The New York Times described the show as “Very funny, sweet not sappy, intricate Birbiglian storytelling.”
