Live / Whirled – Mando Whirled with Marilynn Mair

The Live/Whirled Series founder and internationally acclaimed mandolinist & bandolimist will perform solo and in combination with special musical guests. Her program will include some new compositions and music from her many CDs- Brazilian, classical, and funky. Following her set, the audience will be invited to be part of the premiere of Marilynn’s interactive performance piece, “Rio Luz,” combining written & improvised music with visual images and poetry. Bring an instrument and your imagination. Slideshow and poems will be provided.
