About This Show

Award-winning actress/comedienne Judy Gold tells the hilarious and emotional stories of dozens of women (including herself) in 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother, as part of the Huntington Presents series.

In her show, the popular stand-up comic and monologist explores the myths and realities of Jewish mothers in a performance that mixes Gold’s own experiences as a daughter and a parent with those of more than 50 Jewish women from all walks of life. Gold and playwright Kate Moira Ryan embarked on a five-year journey across the country, interviewing Jewish women of all ages, ethnicities, and occupations, with the goal of finding what–if anything–Jewish mothers have in common. 25 Questions hilariously documents stories of faith, family, and the ups and downs of motherhood facing women of all faiths.
