Here To Stay: The Music of George Gershwin

The Boston Gay Men’s Chorus presents Here To Stay: The Music of George Gershwin. The 150-voice Boston Gay Men’s Chorus, accompanied by a 20-piece big band, sings a tribute to the music of George Gershwin. Original music arrangements by Chad Weirick.

The concert presents a hit parade of some of Gershwin’s best loved songs including “S’wonderful,” “Fascinatin’ Rhythm,” “Little Jazz Bird,” “Someone to Watch Over Me,” “Strike up the Band,” “I Got Rhythm,” “The Man I Love,” “Embraceable You,” and “Our Love is Here to Stay.”

The concert also features Rhapsody in Blue with Chad Weirick at the piano, in a rare version written for jazz orchestra and chorus. Reuben Reynolds directs.
