About This Show

The Carr Center for Human Rights Policy at the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, in collaboration with the American Repertory Theatre, present a dramatization of The Diary of Anne Frank, adapted by A.R.T. Dramaturg Gideon Lester and performed by Aysan Celik. Anne Frank kept a diary from June 12, 1942 to August 1, 1944. In honor of Erev Yom HaShoah, the eve of Holocaust Rememberance Day, actress Aysan Celik will read dramatic extracts from the diary that has gripped millions of readers throughout the world.
The event is free and open to the public.
