About the Show
Based off the Coretta Scott King award-winning novel by Christopher Paul Curtis, Bud, Not Buddy follows the tale of 10-year-old Bud Caldwell. Named after ‘a flower-to-be…a little fist of love waiting to unfold and be seen by the world,’ Bud goes on a quest to find his father and blossoms when he finds family in a jazz band. An epic adventure full of dreams, jazzy tunes and heart.
