Blue Heart

Blue Heart is a pair of one-act plays by British dramatist Caryl Churchill. In Heart’s Desire, a bickering couple awaits their daughter’s return from Australia as their kitchen becomes stuck in a bizarre time loop in which the same scene repeats itself in infinite variations. In Blue Kettle, the abject loneliness of a con artist and his older female marks plays against the literal deterioration of the language of the play.
