About This Show

New England Conservatory presents A Talent to Amuse: An Evening with Noel Coward. English actor, playwright, director, composer, lyricist, and filmmaker Noel Coward’s life and works are celebrated in this evening-long revue of spirited songs like “If Love Were All”, “Mad Dogs and Englishmen,” and “What is this Thing Called Love.” John Greer, NEC’s director and chair of opera studies, has selected and arranged this music for a double quartet of voices, narrator, and “palm court trio” of violin, cello and piano.
