About This Show

In November 2002, Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Suzan-Lori Parks sat down and committed to writing a play a day for the next 365 days. The resulting play cycle, 365 Days / 365 Plays, is presented as a national festival, with participating theaters each presenting seven plays,
representing one week of the cycle, in a cultural relay race that links hundreds of artists around the U.S. and beyond. A collection of Greater Boston theatre companies and universities each put their own stamp on Parks’ plays as they participate in the national 365 Days / 365 Plays initiative. Companies include: Chelsea Theatre Works, Company One, The Lyric Stage Company, New Repertory Theatre, The Nora Theatre, and Zeitgeist Stage, among others.
