Indian Blue is an intimate band that could only happen in New Orleans. Much like its name implies, the small collective is a confluence of Black Masking Indian chants and song with gulf coast Blues licks.
Indian Blue features:
Big Chief Monk Boudreaux – lead vocals, percussion
Johnny Sansone – accordion, harmonica, vocals
John Fohl – guitar, vocals
Shows at 8pm & 10pm.
Doors at 7:00pm & 9:30pm.
Big Chief Joseph "Monk" Boudreaux of the Golden Eagles tribe is currently the oldest living and practicing Black Masking Indian Chief (aka Mardi Gras Indian Chief), known as the "Elder of Elders," and leads his tribe's band, also known as the Golden Eagles. Among many other awards and honors, Monk is a National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Award recipient and a Grammy-nominated musician.
"Jumpin" Johnny Sansone is an electrifying blues singer, songwriter, harmonicist, accordionist, guitarist and piano player who was nominated for 7 different music awards in 2012, including his national Blues Music Award, following his 2011 release, "The Lord is Waiting and The Devil is Too."
Grammy Award-winning guitarist, singer and songwriter John Fohl, formerly of the popular band Cherry Poppin' Daddies, has played and toured with artists like Dr. John, Clarence 'Gatemouth' Brown, Shemekia Copeland, Charlie Musselwhite, Bo Diddley, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Johnny Sansone, and more. The Montana native has made New Orleans his home for some time, having collaborated for 30 years with several of the city's musical greats. Though he's only released two solo albums, his songwriting has earned him 3 Grammy nominations and 1 win, notably as guitarist with the late Dr. John.

Full Bar is Open 6pm – Midnight for all, on show nights, with or without tickets.
Kind Reminder: Snug Harbor does not serve food inside the Music Room. In order to preserve the integrity, quiet and focus of our world class intimate concerts, only cocktails and soft drinks are available for table service inside the Music Room. However, we encourage you to arrive 90 Minutes prior to your showtime in order to enjoy full, relaxing dinner service in the Dining Room right next door, before getting seated in the Music Room for the show. 8pm ticket holders can also enjoy dinner, dessert or appetizers after the show, with Dining Room seating only guaranteed by submitting your table request before 8pm.

As announced by the City of New Orleans, as of March 24th, Snug Harbor is no longer requiring valid proof of Covid vaccination or negative test for entry, and while masks are still suggested when not actively eating or drinking indoors, they are now optional for all. We are now seating at just under our regular audience capacity.
However, with our intimate venue's regularly limited seating capacity, advance tickets are still strongly suggested in order to guarantee seats for this show!
