About This Show

Jaston Williams of Tuna Trilogy fame is bringing his new solo play, And I’m Not Lying, to the NoHo Arts Center for a limited engagement. Produced by
Open At The Top, this ‘tell-all’ comedic saga, written and performed by
Williams, is set for four performances only.

You’ve seen him portray some of the wackiest citizens of Tuna, Texas:
‘Didi Snively,’ ‘Arles Struvie,’ ‘Charlene Bumiller’ and the unforgettable
‘Vera Carp’ – but you haven’t seen Jaston Williams as HIMSELF. Until now.
After more than two decades in show business, the acclaimed actor/writer is
emerging from the closet to embark on a sometimes hilarious, sometimes
dramatic journey through truth.

The genesis of And I’m Not Lying began about two years ago, when Williams suffered a near-fatal heart attack, after which he decided to create a
one-man show about his life and career, inspired by the words ‘I am what I
am.’ Following the NoHo Arts Center engagement, Williams is set for
subsequent runs at the Denver Performing Arts Center and Michael Feinstein’s
at the Regency in New York, among others.
