Don and Lina are a famous on-screen romantic pair at the height of their silent film careers. When talking pictures take Hollywood by storm, Lina’s high pitched, annoying voice threatens their careers. Kathy, an aspiring actress, is asked to dub her voice in secret. While she is working on the movie, Don falls in love with her. Will Kathy continue to “aspire” or will she get the break she deserves?
