Colette Freedman’s Sister Cities tells the story of four sisters who each have a different father and not much in common. Named after the cities (or state) in which they were born, Dallas, Baltimore, Austin and Carolina come together for a reunion of sorts. Why? Because Mom is in the bathtub, dead, her wrists slit. There’s an elegant razor lying nearby. Is it, in fact, suicide, or could it be murder? The play – written, directed and performed by women – raises profound and not easily answered questions about life, death and growth.
The cast includes: Bettina Adger, Royana Black, Jen Eldridge, Darcy Martin and Bibi Tinsley. Lisa Cole directs.
