About This Show

Flip through the years as if they were pages in a musical magazine. Shout! The Mod Musical tracks five young women as they come of age during the liberating days that made England swing – the 1960s. The show is a non-stop journey through the infectious and soulful pop anthems and ballads that made household names of Petula Clark, Dusty Springfield and Lulu.

Shout! uses letters to an advice columnist, true confessions, quizzes and advertisements as a frame for hits like “To Sir With Love,” “Downtown,” “You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me,” “Son of A Preacher Man,” and “Goldfinger.”

Shout! The Mod Musical is co-created by Phillip George and David Lowenstein with mod musings & groovy gab by Peter Charles Morris and Phillip George. The show is directed and choreographed by Jay Falzone. The design team includes David Gallo (scenic design), Philip Heckman (costume design), Jay Moscowitz (lighting design) and Tony Meola (sound design). Orchestrations and additional arrangements are by Bradley Vieth.
