This wild, uproarious musical is a parody of the 1936 anti-marijuana propaganda film of the same name. The hilariously awful 1936 film Reefer Madness was originally a staple of high-school hygiene classes. It was later It was later revived as a camp classic on the college cult circuit. Now it’s having a third lease on life, courtesy of lyricist Kevin Murphy, one of the writers and producers of Desperate Housewives, and composer Dan Studney.
