Our Town (in Old City)

Terrence J. Nolen directs the Thorton Wilder Classic, Our Town. As the finale of the Arden Theatre’s 20th Anniversary season, this is an unprecedented event celebrating community. The site-specific production is performed on the Haas stage and in Christ Church.

Act I plays on the Arden’s Haas Stage. At intermission, the audience walks next door through the churchyard to Christ Church, where the wedding of Act II is staged. The audience then returns to Arden for Act III.

To further involve the Philadelphia community, each night features special community guests as part of the production.
