Written by Daniel Goldfarb, Modern Orthodox tells the story of a young couple whose lives are interrupted when a Hasidic diamond dealer from Brooklyn arrives on their doorstep with suitcase in hand, announcing that he needs a place to live. The ill-mannered houseguest is the dealer from whom a very special diamond engagement ring was to be purchased.
