Actor and activist Madrid St. Angelo directs the first Chicago production of a Robert Patrick play in over a decade for Curious Theater Branch’s Rhinoceros Festival.
Patrick’s last play explores the ups and downs of two lovers living and working in Hollywood. Penn, a movie writer, is content to keep the relationship within the protected confines of Hollywood’s glass closet; while Aron, a TV director wants to bring the relationship out in the open. This timely tale of “don’t ask, don’t tell” a la Hollywood is chock full of Patrick’s infamous wit and fast paced lingo.
