About This Show

Blank Theatre Company presents the world premiere of Heads, by EM Lewis, directed by Darin Anthony.

Imagine simply doing your job and out of nowhere being blindfolded, kidnapped, whisked away to some unknown location and having no idea why or how long you’ll be held or what will happen to you. Imagine not even being able to see your captors. Now, imagine that it all happened in Iraq. Heads tells the story of four civilian American & British hostages who don’t have to imagine such things; they are living it.

This startling WORLD PREMIERE play takes you inside the “prison” walls and inside the psyche of terror. Heads was originally presented in The Living Room Series, The Blank’s new play development program.

EM Lewis’ world premiere is an extremely effective exploration of what it means to be tortured.
