John Caird and Trevor Nunn present a new version of this musical comedy with lyrics by Richard Wilbur and additional lyrics by Stephen Sonheim, John Latouche, Lillian Hellman, Dorothy Parker and Leonard Berstein. With great humor, Candide explores an apparently demoralizing, violent world.
