About the Show
Tammy Ryan’s The Music Lesson is a new play development project between Stage One and the University of Texas at Austin. Ivan and Irena are haunted by memories of the war that destroyed their home and careers as music teachers in Sarajevo. They must begin anew in America, but Irena can?t forget the chords of laughter and moments of love created by her lost students.
