Hamlet

Hamlet is William Shakespeare’s classic tale of murder and familial betrayal. Hamlet, the troubled young prince of Denmark, yearns to avenge his father’s death at the hands of his uncle, and new stepfather, Claudius. His attempts to let the people of Denmark know what Claudius has done drive both him and his love, Ophelia, mad. This production runs in repertory with Tom Stoppard’s Rosencrantz and Guilderstern Are Dead.

All performances are free of charge. Performances are June 20-23, 25-30, and July 10, 12, and 14 at 8:00pm in the C. Douglas Ramey Ampitheatre in Central Park. There will be additional performances on July 18, 20, and 21 at the Ogle Center at Indiana University Southeast.
