About the Show
The Midwest premiere of Stephen Sondheim’s Passion is presented by the Civic Opera Theater of Kansas City. This production, which concludes the Civic Opera’s 20th Anniversary season, features stage direction by Rick Truman and music direction by Andy Anderson, Artistic Director.
Music and lyrics for Passion are by Stephen Sondheim with the book by James Lapine. Don’t miss the beautiful music of Passion, a sensual study of love and emotion, based on the film, Passions d’Amora.
